Art has always been important in world. One of these arts is truck art, On the roads , beautiful and colorful people, pictures of animals, flowers, trucks and buses are seen traveling towards their destination. But very few people know what this art is and who makes all these designs and paintings.
Basically, I am related to Texla. When I was a child, we used to see trucks in their environment. Because the people of Texla are mostly transporters. I also had a passion to become a truck artist. And then I started working in a local workshop under the guidance of a teacher. In 1947, when Pakistan was formed, people used to decorate camels and bullock carts. Gradually, it started to be used on trucks and buses. Let me tell you that this art has now started to fly in the sky along
with the earth. It takes not thousands, but lakhs of rupees to build a truck. And it takes at least 4 years to become a complete truck artist. In truck art, we use oil paint.
Along with that, we use some shocking colors. Those are fluorescent colors that are found in powder form. So that when the truck is moving on the road, it attracts and impresses the people watching it. Poetry is also considered an
important element of this art. Poetry is also written on it, funny poetry. Because
either it is giving you a message or it is a warning poetry. It is telling you to pass, to tolerate. Either you are overtaking or you are waiting. So there are such messages and people like it.
This work is basically done in Rawalpindi, Karachi and Dehra Ghazi Khan. Whether you have a small car or a big car, people like this work a lot. And because of the likes, Allah has also run a system for us. That is why we continue this work from morning till evening. It has aerials, sparklers, steel items, and parades. Handmade colorful parades,
beautiful sparklers, and colorful fan trucks are decorated. For example, we
have a car parked behind us. If it came from Japan, it wouldn’t be so beautiful. When it comes to Pakistan, they make it so beautiful that it looks like a newlywed bride.
When the body of the truck is made, then there is the work of iron on its chassis, then there is the work of wood, wood carving. Apart from this, there is the work of plastic, then there is the work of steel, there is the work of reflective tape, that also comes under this. So now all these works merge with each other and the truck art is made. Earlier, truck artists used to paint on trucks and live their lives. But now there are a lot of feats in front of truck artists. They are working on fabrics, shoes, shoes, Peshawari slippers, joggers, household items, clay pots, furniture, handicrafts.
We have designed a traditional restaurant in the name of The Lahore Cafe. We have already designed two restaurants in America. Foreigners loved it so much.
Truck drivers are on a long journey. When they are driving the truck, there is no
rest. Because they drive the truck continuously. They go from one city to another, from one city to another.
